This case works just fine since I bought two. One for my .300 Ultra Mag and one for a .22 bolt rifle. I'll use them depending on what rifles I take hunting or two the range. A good buy!

When I got my Mosin Nagant 91/30 recenetly, I thought to myself "is there a gun case long enough to even fit this thing?" The answer is yes! And this is the case for that. Seems very sturdy and even though the latches are plastic, they feel much better than the usual cheap plastic case I got with my AR when I got it at a gun show. It holds the rifle well. Like the other buyer commented, prob not the case for your AR. It's not too wide, but that's why I just got this for my Mosin. I would buy another if I had another rifle that was 49.5 inches long haha.

I got this case a little while ago, and its a lot better than I expected. The outer shell itself is twice as thick as I thought a $25 case would ever be, and the foam inside holds my rifle perfectly. I probably wouldn't trust it on an airplane (plastic latches), but it is a very good case nonetheless. It may be a little small for taller rifles like AR-15s, but other than that there is nothing wrong with it. Thanks CTD for carrying quality products like this at great prices.

Received the case a couple of days ago and am quite pleased. It is well built, except the latches seem a little cheap, but functional – time will tell. It is a little narrow for a full size military rifle with scope but it all fits. It is a very nice looking case and can be locked for airline transport. No warping or ill-fitting parts. Much better than I was expecting for the price. I will definitely order the wider model for my larger rifles.
