Wilson Combat's drop-in beavertail grip safety provides better control of your pistol while eliminating the discomfort and hammer bite that are possible with stock grip safeties. To return your gun to stock condition, simply re-install the factory part. The drop-in safety is designed to work with a commander style hammer or a bobbed spur hammer. Due to variations from one pistol to the next, slight modifications to the beavertails trigger engagement area may be required for proper operation

The Wilson Combat Beavertail fits perfectly on my 70SC Colt Combat Commander. It looks great (matches the satin nickel and almost looks custom), feels great, and functions great. You should be prepared to fit this to your pistol. It does not "drop in" but it is pretty close. A little filing and the safety functions perfectly. I was surprised to get this at such a great price and it was hard to find any stock. Unfortunately, I bought the last one it appears. Hopefully, CTD will get some more in stock so that others can enjoy this great modification at a great price.
