This stuff will give you a great grip on anything, but the adhesive doesn't stick very well to anything that isn't perfectly smooth, especially ribbed shotgun forends. I used some vehicle weather stripping adhesive to keep it on and it's great now.

Wasn't too crazy about this purchase. Couldn't use it on my shot gun like I wanted to. Adhesive was pretty weak but I was able to use some of it on my bat and held it down with electrical tape. So it wasn't a total waist.
