I contacted Cheaper Than Dirt via email about the problem I had with the first grip received. In just a few days I had A NEW GRIP at my front doorstep!....Good Going CTD!!!!! The new grip fit like a glove. FYI the Manufacturer Lyman who I had also contacted out of curiosity sent me a response as well, but Cheaper Than Dirt had already sent me an RMA and a prepaid FED EX shipping label. You cannot beat the customer service I have received on this purchase. Thank you!!

Removed a set of straight Pachmayr grips and installed the new Gripper Grips. Grips to not fit my SS Ruger Security Six. My serial number starts at 153, so grips should fit. Just to much of a gap on the trigger side of the grip. Noted one other review stated the same problem in 2009, but thought the problem might have been solved. Considering exchanging the grips and hoping the the next set will actually fit.

I put these on my Police Service Six that has the square back grip frame. They fit perfect and give you a much more secure grip on the weapon. Ruger has different grip frames so check yours carefully before ordering.

These grips fit perfect on my security six, but it is important to make sure the serial number prefix is 151 or higher, other wise they may not fit. I would definately recomend this to anyone looking to improve the look and feel of their Ruger, and i only use Pachmayer's for my guns.

I had high hopes for this grip. However, after putting it on, and doing my best to make it fit, there is still a 1/8 inch gap on the trigger side where the two halves are suppose to come together. Also, the gap on the bottom of the pistol grip is very large as well. As for the fit, it did feel good in my hand, but I just can't accept the large gap in the front and on the bottom. What a shame. I will keep it, and when I have absolutely nothing else to do, I might try to grind some 'rubber' away, and see if I can get it to fit better.
