Bought these to carry in my FNP-9. I love them and always keep two at the top of one of my mags, followed by four or five Fiocci JHP 115 gr. After I got the package, I went out and shot two to make sure they functioned OK through the FNP. which they did. Had no issues with the two. Boy did they do some damage to the four milk jugs with denim in front. Pretty much looked like a grenade went off after hitting the first jug. The Glaser Silvers were the only "fragmented ammo" I've heard any good things about and I've watched and read several studies about this type of ammo all together. I'm happy with the ammo but just wish the price would come back to Earth. There's no way it costs that much to make them..just a trend of right now I guess.

I work for a private armed security company. I operate in sometimes highly populated indoor environments. The liability and possibility of a shoot through if I need to use my firearm is of great concern. I also believe anyone who lawfully carries a firearm in public for the purpose of defense should consider what might be behind the bad guy before the situation occurs. You are liable for every round you fire! With that being said, I tried this stuff in 9mm and .45. I used a Kel-Tec PF-9 and an HK USP .45 CT. The water bucket test went well. I used 5 gallon buckets filled with water, nothing else. I fired at point blank range every time. The impact was so devastating it would leave the bucket split almost in half, top to bottom and there was never an exit hole. All fragments were found. I tried the same test with Winchester 147gr JHP. I did get just as soaked, but the bucket didn’t bust. There was an exit hole in the bottom that traveled into the ground several inches, and the projectile wasn’t recovered. I also set up some ½ OSB (plywood) about 2 ft. apart and fired the Silver Safeties from 7 yds. It did penetrate both pieces. In my opinion it will penetrate a wall if nothing gets in the way. They ran without a jam in both firearms, and were as accurate as anything else I’ve put through the guns. I’m pleased with their performance, and will be ordering enough to fill all my carry mags at least.

I bought a package of these because a family member told me about them. I then on recieving them shot a target and the bullets didnt jam nor did they leave my gun with a rattle from the bbs inside the bullet. These to me are the best!!!
