This is a high quality tool. It has everything you need for everyday use. You can beat on this all day and it is still tight and strong. A little pricey but you get what you pay for on multi tools.

I have carried one of these for almost 13 years now. The black subdued color is the way to go if you are in a job that requires being tactical. I sent mine to the factory in 2007 for repairs after many years of hard use. Gerber replaced it for free because they said it would be cheaper than replacing most of the tools. Gerber stands by their products and that is why I will only buy Gerber.

I own the stainless version of this tool. It is an excellent tool and every guy should have one. I also own an original Leatherman tool and it is another high quality tool. I like them both, but this one is easier to open single-handed and has a couple additional tools. I broke the file on mine, but that was my fault, not a quality issue.
