| I own a Glock 39 (.45 GAP). First off, this does not give the regular Glock 39 magazine, which is 6 rounds capacity, 4 extra rounds like the description implies. It only adds one extra round to the magazine. Now that that's out of the way...I bought a G39 for the reason most do, to conceal. What I didn't count on was that due to my extremely large hands, this model would be a little bit uncomfortable to handle. Even after some of my friends with not so large hands fired it, they still had the same problem. So I found this Pearce grip...This thing is awesome. I was uncomfortable with the pinky overhang that is common with the sub-compact Glocks, but this fixed that. In addition to now fitting my hand like a compact, it also adds one round to each of the 3 magazines I put it on. So with one in the chamber, I walk around with 8 rounds ready to go, in a gun that pretty much fits in my hand or pocket. I know some 1911's that hold that many...
I have never had any problems with jams or other firing functionality, even when I used with the +1 round in the chamber.
The pattern looks very similar to the factory grip pattern and really looks nice. It hasn't affect the size very much either, and I can still put it the same places I could before. Overall, if you were in the same boat I was in, and even if you aren't, this thing is a good addition to any sub-compact Glock. |
