Gato, Fine Edge, Clip Point -
When debut the Gator Folders back in 1991, the insightful attendees at Blade Show named our reptilian creation as the "Most Innovative Knife of the Year."

The Gator Folder employs advanced thermoplastics with an alligator skin texture to deliver a stunningly reliable, ultimately comfortable grip.

Anyway, there are seven models to choose from. Each model has a lockback mechanism and each with a blade made of stainless steel that is as rugged as they come.

Clip Blade -
The clip blade is a classic shape and very practical. Its name describes a shape that seems to have a portion of the spine of the blade clipped off. This brings the blade point lower for extra control and enhances the sharpness of the tip. It provides ample "belly" in the blade for slicing or skinning and a good tip for inserting in and under things that need to be cut. You will often find a false edge with the clip point.

Lockback -
Folding knife that has a lock release on the back of the handle.

Zytel -
A glass filled nylon material used in making handles for knives. DuPont trademark.

If you go into the woods to hunt, fish or do whatever, This knife is the only one you'll need unless your hunting Godzilla! This is the one I carry the most out of a whole lot of different ones I have. EXCELLENT CHOICE !!!

I have about 50 knives in my closet, but if I could only have one, this would be it. It handles every household, hunting and camping task you could ever think to use a knife for. The handle has good grip when wet or covered in deer blood. The serations will split pelvis and ribs well. I've even used a rock to hammer the blade trough small logs to make kindling. After ten years it's still in great shape even with the abuse it's taken.

I've had this knife for 13 years, and it's still going strong. I never leave home without it. This knife is the toughest knife I've ever owned. My own particular knife has been through everything from opening bottles, to prying surfaces apart, to cutting numerous boxes and cords, to dressing out a deer. This is the only knife you'll ever need. Rugged, dependable, and no-nonsense.

This is one of the most solid knives I have ever owned. You could almost call it a "fixed folder". The grip is fantastic, almost fuseing to your hand. It has a bigger grip and no belt clip so it is not practical to carry everywhere, but that does make it more comfortable to use. For the price, you can't go wrong.
