This is a nice looking knife. The blade is fairly sharp out of the box. I found the handle to be a bit "slick" and it seems like it would be easy for the knife to slip out of your hand if your palms were sweaty. Overall a decent knife but for the same price range, CTD offers knives like the Cold Steel Voyager that definitely outperforms this knife.

I have owned one of these AR 3.0's for almost a year now. It is an excellent knife. It has been in my pocket all but 2 or 3 days of that time. It holds an edge well. when I was wearing it with the pocket clip, it hooked on things and eventually after several hooks the clip broke off. I can't be sure, but sometimes I wish I had bought the AR 3.5 with the longer blade. However, the 3.0 fits very nicely and unobtrusively in my jeans pocket under my tool belt. I bought it thinking it was made In the US because I own another older Gerber knife that was stamped USA. I did some research after buying it, and they are made in China, so gerber sold out. It's a shame, but still I have to say and excellent product and I have yet to find a knife that looks as good and holds an edge as well to replace it.
