bought this for my wasr. installed it in about ten minutes slapped a vert grip and a flashlight on it and havent looked back since. this thing fits like a glove and despite my best efforts on the range running and gunning it hasnt let me down. it really has helped transform my old wasr into a capable battle rifle.

There is a bit of light gunsmithing required. The loop for the sling needs to be cut off with a cut off wheel. Otherwise the quad rail will not fit. Also you will need to remove the top and bottom wood guards on the front. total installation time was about 30 minutes because of cutting off the loop. At any time you can take of the quad and reinstall the wood. I can still use my iron sights however when I put my red dot on their I could no longer see the iorn sights. Luckly I also order a new stock with a cheek riser. If not for the cheek riser I would not be able to see through the red dot without taking my head off the rifle which can greatly affect accuracy. Its a great quad rail with a life time warranty. It fits snugly and doesnt move at all. Midwest Industries did an exelnt job. Thank You Cheaperthandirt!
