I bought a Canadian Hammer II call that needed some tuning, and yes, I got it tuned, and it has taken some practice. It can be used for different kinds of geese but it does not get that deep, gutty sound of the bigger Canadians. But it works for snow geese, speckled bellies, and smaller Canadians. I bought the Magnum Honker call by Haydel's, and I'm just thrilled! It needed no tuning at all. If you are looking for a call that will bring in the Giant Canadian Geese, this the call to buy. Just a little practice calling on it to get your different sounds like "feeding" call, "lay down" call and the "come back" call. NO TUNING ISSUES!! If you like to slay the BIGGER CANADIANS like I do with some decoys, I'd say try this one out and you'll get your limit. Use it, and they will come.
