5.0 Rating Nothing but pleased - 10/4/2012
Reviewer: ria fan
Nothing but pleased with this purchase. I've read thousands of reviews on sub 1911 acp's. Of the hundreds for RIA that I read, 99% of them were nothing but praise for the manufaturer, and the gun specificly. I haven't had a chance to shoot it as I received it yesterday. I've stripped it and put it back together and couldn't find any flaws in workmanship. The finish is applied evenly and looks good. This is a solid weapon that looks like it will stand the test of time and use. If it shoots as well as it's made then I know I'm in for a treat. I will update after shooting. UPDATE: I finally got to take it to the range :) At 15 yards, I was getting a 1.5 inch ragged hole. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I put up a new target and got the same results :) 100 rounds, no fail to feed or eject. Again, nothing but pleased with this purchase!!!

4.0 Rating Surprised - 8/15/2013
Reviewer: Eric W.
Cheaper Than Dirt was awesome! I received my gun at my ffl dealer in like 3 days i think. The gun came in a nice plastic case. The gun itself was wrapped up in a plastic bag and was coated in grease and was fairly warm from being in bag for some time probably. It only came with 1-8 round mag and no manual or safety lock or no test fired shells showing me that it had even been tested at all. So I took it home and tore it all down cause it was filthy with oil and metal shavings inside the slide. Put it back together and fired 250rounds and 3 different types of 230 grain fmj threw it and even had wilson combat mags with the stock mag and all it did every 7 or 8 rounds is jam. Over and over, no matter what i did. So i just had it sent back to Armscor and they are going to fix it for free! It has a life time guarantee which is great. And there customer service was top notch. Told them it came missing all that stuff like the safety manual and the lock and the spent shells showing that it had been test fired. He said they would take care of everything. Take about 4 weaks and my gun should be working great i hope cause it's brand new. My father has the officer's model and fired over 300 rounds from his so far and not one jam. For the price, I say give them a shot! cause you got a lifetime warrantee and great customer service. Be safe shooting everyone and god bless america

4.0 Rating 2 thumbs up - 5/15/2014
Reviewer: CenTex shooter
This is my first handgun purchase ever but I have shot other handguns before. I got it and checked everything out to make sure it was functional and it was. It did come with a good coat of factory oil. I took it out to the range and it did really well. RIA recommends shooting 500 rounds to break it in. I put about half that and it runs better than when I started. The only problem I came across was it would catch the ejecting brass if you take shots in quick succession. I'm a shooter on a budget and I recommend it to any other shooter on a budget.

This gun was recommended by multiple shooting buddies and gunsmiths who I have learned to trust on there work and advice they tell me if you want a excellent 45 caliber pistol for a reasonable price and dependability go with this weapon. So I purchased this weapon took it to the range put 550 rounds through it with excellent grouping no misfires no complaints this is an excellent weapon for the price. And no I do not work for the company. This is a excellent weapon I have recommended it to my family.
