You are putting your child in the car after a long day of shopping at the busy mega mall. Your child is fussy, its dark, and now a group of questionable looking men are walking towards you and your child. The hair on the back of your neck is standing on edge…

Unfortunately, this scenario plays itself out each and every day across America with hapless victims paying the price for being unprepared. If you had a Smith & Wesson firearm on hand this scenario would not be as filled with uncertainty and panic. Smith & Wesson makes firearms that have been adopted by Military and Police units as well as finding a niche with Hunters and Concealed Carry Aficionados. In fact, Smith & Wesson firearms are built to stand up to the rigors of combat, and are as durable and reliable as they come. Go American…Go Smith & Wesson.

4.0 Rating Really nice - 2/28/2014
Reviewer: mcburhans
This was my first handgun and I am very pleased with it. I was able to take it apart, clean it, and lightly oil it prior to first shoot. It has a nice feel: balance and weight are nice. My fiance and I shot about 100 rounds through it the first day. She enjoyed it too. Solid gun in my opinion, as well as my conceal carry instructor's. I only give it 4 because you cannot change the grips ... the lower frame is a solid polymer ... a good fit, just can't customize grips.

5.0 Rating Best 300$ ever spent - 8/13/2014
Reviewer: Eric
I looked at this gun in the local gun store, loved the way it fit your hands and everything about it. Ignore all the talk about the trigger, it really is not that bad. Out of the box hitting targets at 50 yards, best and only 9mm you will need. Love it

3.0 Rating Time Will Tell - 8/28/2014
Reviewer: Harold
While I was filling out the paperwork, the FFL racked the slide. He said it took two men and a small boy to pull it back. When I got it home, I pulled the slide back and let it go. The slide only moved forward about an inch and stuck. Something was grinding badly. I disassembled it and saw no rub marks. Several teardowns and assemblies found nothing, but the slide moved a bit better. Final teardown and application of a dry lube and the slide moves better. Have not fired it yet. Time will tell how this one does.

4.0 Rating Nice gun, good deal. - 9/9/2014
Reviewer: NotANewBee
The only problem with this gun is that I find it a little hard to remove the barrel cover (need 3 hands?). I finally got some ammo to shoot it and as expected it shot fine. CTD was having a problem with shipment notifications and it ended up at my FFL while the website still said order processing. Great price, prompt delivery, heck my FFL even gave me an hour of range use free. Thanks CTD.

4.0 Rating Great weapon - 9/20/2014
Reviewer: Chris
I bought this pistol for recreational shooting, personal, and home defense. So far I am very pleased. It fires great, no major recoil, easy to take apart. I put 50 rounds through 1st time and out and fires great as well as have a great feel, fit, and balance of weight. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is the slide is a little tough until it is broken in and can be a little difficult to remove due to the tough slide and awkward position of the take down. However as stated, Great weapon would purchase again.
