Designed to work with all Model 870 shotguns, the Trigger Fix allows the user to have a clean, smooth, fully adjustable trigger pull. Packaged with a sear, 3 pull weight springs and a hex head wrench. Simply choose a spring (light, medium, or heavy) and then fine tune the pull weight with the hex head wrench for a precise setting. Will also work on the following Remington models: 74, 742, 7400, 750, 76, 760, 760, 7600, 7615, 878,1100 and 11-87.

Bought the sear and spring kit for my 870 Tac. and it vastly improved trigger pull over the factory. Only down side to it I've found (and I really don't think there's any other way around it) is you have to remove the trigger to adjust it and change springs. Really a simple task with the right tools. Definitely getting one for my 760. Thanks, CTD and Timney.

Not sure if I just spent $$ on a lighter spring kit. The sear is nicely made, but other than the "adjustable" spring stud, I don't SEE any difference in quality or geometry compared to the stock part. I do know Timney makes good stuff though. Speaking of adjustment, my screw was not adjustable and the instructions said it wasn't to be moved. If I wanted adjustment I would have to swap out springs. WTF! I used the blue spring, which is the lightest, and I haven't had any functional issues. In my opinion, Timney needs to market a spring kit and sell it for $10 (at most). This is where I see all benefit from the upgrade. That and a little honing of the factory engagements will save an end-user a good chunk of coin. Overall, I like the pull, but the price is not worth it. Only 3 bullets. If you have money to burn, like I did, I recommend it for those who must have every upgrade imaginable. With that in mind, it could have rated higher.
