The upper came today. It would not assemble to my frame because there are burrs on the slide lock pin hole on the base of the barrel. The burrs scratched my new frame. Apparently the Germans don't always make good stuff.

I was concerned because information is non existent on this as a conversion. I shot the complete GSG 1911 at the rental range, this conversion functions perfectly on my Kimber Custom II lower. I needed to buy no other parts or modify/file or modify in any other way any aspect of my Kimber. I had a real tough decision with all the other kits that are out there, but the quality of the range pistol proved the company is solid (1,000s of rounds out of it I was told and it certainly looked well worn) and the slide lock was enough for me to take the chance. Glad I did.
