The closest thing to an HK93 on the market, this high quality clone from Century International Arms is just like its HK brother. Chambered in .223 Rem /5.56 NATO with a 16.25" barrel, the C93 is a good option for an AR-15 alternative.

The C93 functions like the CETME rifle and is chambered for the 5.56/.223 cartridge. It features a fluted chamber for reliable cycling and a roller lock bolt system. The stock, pistol grip and forend are all made of impact resistant plastic. The receiver and barrel is U.S. made and the entire rifle is parkerized.

4.0 Rating Better than M-16 - 12/19/2011
Reviewer: Matthew
I bought this weapon about 6 months ago. I had remembered this HK's being very popular in the 1990's but hadn't seen many since. Those I had seen were all in the $1500-$2000 range, so I thought this was a steal. As a soldier, I hate the M-16. Fire one magazine and they will be so dirty you will spend the next half day cleaning them. With this C93 I have gone through 300 rounds rapid fire without a jam. It was also barely dirty afterwards, cleaned up in about 20 minutes. On the downside it is much harder to take apart than the M-16. It should get easier with practice, I'm sure. The mechanical action not only keeps it cleaner, but it also has a much faster cycle time. Downside is my Hellfire won't fit on it. Some guy on youtube got one on his, he probably filed down the trigger guard, and that guy emptied a 40 round clip in 2.5 seconds. Forget carrying a SAW! This does have recoil though since it doesn't have the giant spring in the butt like the M-16 does. At 100 yards this doesn't matter, but I'm sure it would matter at 300 yards. I had read online a number of people complaining about the bolt gap on this weapon. If you ride it forward, the bolt will not close all of the way. You have to fully release the bolt, which might be a little too much aggression for some wimpier shooters. The only problem I had with this was the rear sight isn't placed well. Original sighting at 5 feet away was 3 feet low. I had to use a spacer to get it lined up. I am on the website now considering buying the rail attachment for a scope. This weapon was a great deal, and far better than an M-16. Although HK is coming out with their own version of the M-16 that is a hybrid between this and it, for more dependable cleaner shooting but full compatability.

4.0 Rating Good Value - 2/2/2012
Reviewer: Jay
First, CTD delivers again. Most people reselling these, at this low price, only sell them with one mag. CTD supplies it with 2 mags and a bayonet! Second, this gun is not new. Don't bash anyone if it's not a pristine rifle (appearance wise). These are demilled military rifles with new receivers. I would say mine is a solid 90% condition. Third, check the bolt gap! These are Century weapons. Anyone who has dealt with them knows it can be a hit or miss proposition. The biggest reported problems with these is the bolt gap. Do an online search and you'll see several articles. This is not a deal-breaker, though. You can spend about $28 for +4 rollers. They're not hard to install, and will bring it back to spec (or close). You really need to read up on this. I gave it an overall of 4, mainly because it's a Century gun, and until I get to the range, I won't know if the sights are canted, the receiver is true, or if the thing will even feed. Cheers.

5.0 Rating Best Buy Out There - 2/16/2012
Reviewer: Happy Customer
At this price, with two magazines, it can't be beat. And it came with a bayonet to boot! Fast shipping to FFL dealer. I picked it up and fired it right out of the box, with the cheap TulAmmo. No misfires or jams. Weapon was very accurate right out of the box! Bolt gap was good. No complaints at all. Century Arms has a bad word-of-mouth reputation, which is uncalled for. This is my third Century Arms weapon, and I'm pleased with them all. CTD, great job once again!
