Weatherby ammunition remains true to the concept Roy Weatherby developed in the 1940s, the faster a bullet traveled, the better. The flatter it would shoot, the less it would drop, the harder it would hit, the better its terminal performance. At the same time, our ammunition also takes advantage of the latest in controlled expansion bullets which are capable of harnessing the higher velocities to create a cartridge that provides the ultimate in penetration, large wound channels and more one-shot kills. Nothing shoots flatter, hits harder or is more accurate.

Roy Weatherby’s personal favorite. Travels 3,825 fps (87 grain bullet), giving you the flattest trajectory of any .25 caliber rifle in the world. Suitable for long range varmint shooting but ideal for big game hunting (depending upon bullet weight).

The young whitetail buck was standing 197 yards away with his back to me, at an angle. The bullet crushed two ribs, went through the vitals, ricocheted off the right shoulder and lodged just under the skin. I cut out the bullet and found it had mushroomed PERFECTLY and retained much of its weight. In fact, it looked like it was a partitioned bullet. The buck only went 25 yards. This is a great round that will take care of a wide variety of game. I strongly recommend it.
