.22 Winchester Magnum, Winchester Wildcat Dynapoint, 45 Grain Plated Bullet, 50 Round Box.

Winchester owes its humble beginnings to Rimfire Ammunition. As a matter of fact, Winchester's first commercially available metallic cartridge ammunition was a large caliber rimfire load introduced back in 1866. More than 130 years later, rimfire is the world's most popular ammunition. As you would expect, Winchester has you covered with a complete line of high performance cartridges including the undisputed heavyweight in rimfire ammunition, the 22 Winchester Magnum introduced in 1960. From precision target shooting to plinking, small game hunting and silhouettes, Winchester is chosen by rimfire shooters worldwide.

4.0 Rating Better than Win Super X 40gr - 2/16/2011Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box4.0000

I bought a box of these, two different boxes of Federal mags, and a box of Winchester Super X FMJ. I had low expectations for these Dynapoints and high expectations for the Game-Shok and Super X. Of the four boxes I shot, these Dynapoints came in number 2 (behind Federal 30gr HP Speer TNT) on my satisfactory list. They were real accurate and they fired every time! (Cannot say the same for the Super X and Game-Shok). For the price I will definitely buy these for 22 mag plinking. The cons for the Dynapoints, they had half the pop of all the other rounds I shot. Sounded like a 22lr. Oh and I was shooting a Heritage SA 4.5".
5.0 Rating good cheap bullets - 3/8/2010Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box5.0000

These may be "cheaper than dirt" but they perform just as good as the cci's and federals through my 24 inch chuckster. Never have a problem with them not firing or ejecting. Sounds like some people having problems with these need some new parts in their guns like hammer springs or firing pins. They don't shoot as well as the remington polymer tipped bullets but they cost half as much and I'm not going to complain about the 3/8 inch groups @50 and 1 1/2 inch groups I'm getting @100 yards. Nuff said.
4.0 Rating Savage loved them!! - 2/12/2010Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box4.0000

My Savage 93 in .22 mag absolutely loved them, 3/4 in groups at 100 yds. The most accurate ammo i've ever shot in that gun, although i have opted to hunt with Remington accutip-v because the dynapoints are underpowered ammo, much less far from flat shooting. The accutip-v's tended to shoot a little worse in my gun but still respectable at around 1 1/4 at 100 yds, and i planned on doing some fox/coyote hunting. Feel like i can trust the Accutips a little more, just cause they pack more punch...and the whole trajectory thing. If you plan on shooting anywhere close to or over 100 yds, i suggest staying away from the dynopoints and opting for nearly any other .22 mag bullet so long as its accurate.

This ammo is bad! 10 out of 25 casings split open inside my brand new marlin bolt action 22 mag and i had to shove them out with a cleaning rod! DO NOT BUY WINCHESTER 22 MAG! unless you happen to have a cleaning rod in the back seat of your truck it can ruin your day at the range.
4.0 Rating Good for the $$ - 11/14/2009Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box4.0000

For a low cost ammo. I have no complaints. Thru a Marlin 25M with a 3-9 Bushnell, I'm able to duplicate what I can do with better ammo (more a factor of aging eyes). Not a target round, not a super killing varmit round, but a great fun round. Makes a Saturday in the woods taking out old beer cans and an occaisional squirell a cheap day of fun. I save my better Win, Rem, and CCI JSP's for range and serious varmit work. Overall, I always have a half doz or so boxes on hand for fun shooting.

horrible round. why does winchester even make these? the shoot all over the place. the bullet itself is rough and the hollow point is often not even centered correctly at the tip of the bullet. im glad i only bought one box of 50. i will never buy again.

Weak, only 1050 fps in my Automag II. Won't cycle acation at all. But the accuracy was good. Might be good in a rifle for light power game load.

DO NOT BUY!!! CTD has alot of good ammo but not these. They drop about 8 inches lower than a CCI mag in 75 yards. They sound like a 22lr round and are very weak.I would buy CCI MAG that is a great round.

Gun = Marlin 983S Bolt Action / Tube feed Scope = Tasco Target / Varmint 6 x 24 x 40 Distance = 50 yards Temp = 70F Wind = Dead calm Gun was mounted in a site vise for all tests Winchester DynaPoint - 3 shot groups 1 3/4", BUT 1 out of 10 would stray completely off the 8" target. 1 out 50 were duds. Cheapest round tested - $.15 per shot. Remington ACCUTIP-V rounds 3 shot groups were 1/2" or better. No strays, no duds. Most accurate, BUT most expensive - $.32 a shot! CCI POLY-TIP V-MAX 3 shot groups were 1/2" - 5/8". No strays, no duds. Accurate round, upper mid-priced - $.22 per shot. CCI MAXI-MAG HP 3 shot groups were 5/8". No strays, no duds. Accurate round, mid-priced - $.19 per shot. WInchester SuperX FMJ 3 shot groups were slightly under 3/4". No strays, no duds. Accurate enough for target practice, plinking, short distance small game hunting - $.18 per shot. The VERDICT on the Winchester DynaPoint is when compared to other rounds I've tested the DynaPoint is not as accurate, and it does not group as well at 50 yards despite dead calm wind and low humidity conditions. Due to the strays and occasional duds I'd recommend spending a little more for one of the other rounds mentioned above.
1.0 Rating Not good - 7/27/2008Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box1.0000

Was forced to buy this because it was all that was left. Shells had strange sounds to them. Some had different charges in them.as far as what i could hear when shooting them and seeing the results on paper.READ WINCHESTERS WEBSITE to find out which Dynapoints have been recalled. Some problems with the amount of powder in them. Overall, i'd respectively say to stay away from these rounds.
3.0 Rating not what it used to be - 5/28/2008Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box3.0000

I shot about 100 rounds of this stuff through my old Marlin 925m and it all went bang, no ejection problems etc., but this stuff is nowhere near as accurate as the CCI Maxi-Mag ammo. I was switching back and forth between brands on one occasion and found that the dynapoint ammo would regularly have 2-3" flyers in just about any direction even at only 50 yards, whereas the CCI was more often than not placing multiple bullet through the same hole at the same ranges. Final Verdict: not bad, but if you want accuracy buy CCI, it's the most accurate ammo i ever used in that gun.
5.0 Rating Easy Feeding - 1/4/2008Ammo .22 Magnum Winchester Dynapoint Plated 45 Grain 1550 fps 50 Round Box5.0000

This is the only .22 Mag ammo I ever fired in my 10/22M which had zero misfeeds or ejections, ever -- and I tried them ALL.
