I've owned and hunted with a Rem 700 chambered in .270WSM for the last two years. I have used this ammo exclusively the whole time with outstanding results, including shots exceeding 200 yards. Mulie Buck at 210 and a Mulie Doe at 275, both dropped in their tracks!! Nothing wrong with this Ammo.

I shoot the Tikka 3 Lite . I use the Winchester supreme ballistic silvertips in 130 gr. I also shoot the 150 GR. power points. The Silvertip 130’s are awesome. Shot 1st group of three this year all within a 1 1/2 inch orange circle dot at 100yds. No need to shoot anymore. I am ready for whitetail. The 150 power point kicks a little harder and holds just slightly less than the 130's. Great ammunition.

So I build a nice Rem 700, have the big parts melenite coated, and need something to break in the barrel, this stuff was fine for that. But, if you intend to ACTUALLY kill something with it, you had better be under 150yds because not many guns appreciate the cheapest crap on the market. Oddly when I put some Winchester Supreme 150gr ballistic tips through the gun after the break-in group size went to 2cm exactly (3/4"), and I think the limitation was me, not the gun. Use it for break in, but avoid it for shots that matter.

I bought a box of this stuff simply because I couldn't find anything else! Like the other review I too shoot the TIKA T3 270WSM, and when I ran these through it they were all over the paper. A week later when the Federal Fusion ammo I had ordered came in I was stackin' em just like before. Needles to say, the box of Winchester is up in the closet for standby purposes. I mean after all I suppose you could, possibly, maybe, on a still day, at close range kill something with this ammo.

Pretty much what I expected from winchester my tikka 270 wsm doesn't shoot it very nice and never has but I had to try it out. The first two reviews need to understand that not all guns shoot the same and not all ammo works, thats why I buy a box at a time and I wouldn't shoot the whole box if my grouping didn't improve after 10 rounds and a clean barrel. I'll just stick with the federal stuff it works the best.

i dont know what your doing wrong, but with all my shooting expierence, i can still put a dime group of 4 at a 100 yards with this stuff, i use a model 70, maybe thats the reason. not all makes like the same stuff, just try till you like it i guess.

I agree with the previous review. Went through a whole box, never got less than a 5" group. Found another brand that was much better and gave me the performance I want. You get what you pay for.
