The loss of a bullet has nothing to do with performance of the round i just don't like this caliber i prefer .308 so bear that in mind. The ammo performed amazing 2" group at 100 yards good power drops deer without effort its the only .270 i stock.

I farm for a living. Wild hogs were destroying my crops. I shot 58 hogs in one spring and summer. Not one walked away after being hit with this round. I am extremely pleased with its performance and recommend that people with hog problems forget the catch dogs and just pull the trigger on this round.

Had My 16 yr. old son shoot a Big 4x4 Blacktail with the Ballistic tip. (Close shot, 25 Yds.) Obviously way to close... Hit forward in shoulder area, blew up on impact. Buck flipped , summersaulted and took off where it came from. Four seasond hunters and four hours, not one spec of blood was found. Two days later, same bullet, 125 Yds. and a perfect placed neck shot dropped a different buck in it's tracks... Make sure you have the right loads for your hunt ( short or long shots or both) Its a shame to loose a great buck like that..... Hard lesson to learn for a Teenager.
