I've shot 4 whitetails with these. Shoot 2 a week before season to make sure gun is still on. Always keep a tight group. Good expansion, great knock down. Acutaly took a spike off his feet at 80yds. Never a problem. Won't shoot anything else in my 870.

I used these 3" magnum sabot slugs deer hunting this year, at 100 yards they were right on. At 210 yards they had an impressive 4.7"drop. I used a Mossberg 500 with a Rifled slug barrel and a 4 x 32 power scope I got 1 8 point buck and a Doe. The slug entered and exited the shoulder destroying the heart and lungs very clean entry and exit. I will continue to use these slugs. With 2 slugs I got 2 White-tails!! My buddy went through 10 lead sluggers at 200 yards.

I've been shooting this slug for many years. It's a bit expensive but at 100 yards I get a 1 inch group with three shots. This slug does a lot of damage when it enters and every deer I've shot at has dropped almost immediately. I'd never use any other slug.

My processor found and returned the bullet. It showed good expansion and didn't hardly fragment (only lost one small piece). Shoots straight in my Mossburg 500.
