Deer hunters who know use Remington Premier Copper Solid Sabot Slugs. This 2-3/4" shell launches a 1 Ounce Hollow Point at 1450 fps. It has superb accuracy and is devastating downrange.

A close examination of the big game record books quickly reveals one strikingly consistent fact; the overwhelming majority of trophy book whitetails are found in slug-only states. Why stake your hunt on inferior shotgun slugs? When the buck of a lifetime steps out at 150 yards, go ahead and squeeze the trigger!

Coupling the angled petal score design of the Copper Solid Muzzleloader bullet with the ballistic coefficient of a deep penetrating slug round, the Copper Solid Sabot Slugs deliver maximum performance: 100-percent weight retention, 2X controlled expansion and super accuracy. Accuracy is exceptional, producing groups of 2 ½ inches or less from Remington's fully-rifled slug barrels. The result is the most effective game-dropping performance of any known deer slug.

5 rounds per box. To buy a full case, order 50 boxes.

5.0 Rating Good kick at both ends! - 12/27/2008

Used these slugs in a Rossi 12 Ga. Heavy Rifled Barrel. Grouped pretty accurately if you can stand the whopping kick over and over, and they do kick! Recommend using a shooting vice/clamp device or maybe a boresighter for quick sighting in. Bagged an 8 pt. whitetail, slugs seem to have plenty of penetration and expansion though I was not able to recover any fragments or mushroomed bullets after the 35-40 yard shot, as you would imagine they shot straight through. These also are probably a bit safer being lead free. I recommend this ammo but may your wallet and shoulder beware...

5.0 Rating Serious lethality - 11/21/2009
Reviewer: The deer hunter
Nailed an 8 pointer with this slug at about 15 yards. It penetrated both lungs and broke 2 ribs and snapped the deers spine. It dropped like a sack of taters. I used a Mossberg 12 gauge with a Knoxx stock on it and didn't remember the recoil at all. This ammo is the shiznit! You will not be sorry.

5.0 Rating Best slug out of a Remington 870 - 8/17/2015
Reviewer: Randy
I tried several different slugs when sighting my shotgun in and I used almost all the 2 3/4" I could find on here. Spent a lot of money to see which fired best. First off, all the 3" mags of all brands that I shot, especially Winchester, were no good. Way too much kick. And to make a decent 200 yard shot on a deer, you don't need 3" mags anyway. At a 100 yard zero, I found these slugs to be,by far, the best, followed closely by the cheapest sabots on here, the blue box of federals(1 oz./1500 fps). These two shells shot almost identical. And at 100 yards with my Nikon Slug Hunter with the BDC recticle with the drop compensator on it. I was hitting 2" groups with both loads. I chose the Remingtons because they are 100% copper but there way more expensive. But how many deer do you shoot at every year? They are worth it. Copper Solids or the cheap Federal Sabots, they're both awesome shooters. Hoped I could help someone by this. The other guy on top of this is full of it. How you going to break 2 ribs, get a double lung and break its spine in one shot. Yeah, right!!!
