When you're ready to take to the field, take along this 7mm Remington Magnum hunting ammo from Remington. It penetrates deeply into soft tissue with its 150 Grain Pointed Soft Point Bullet fired at 3110 fps.

Remington's Core-Lokt bullet design is the original controlled expansion bullet, and one of the most effective ever developed. Its progressively tapered copper jacket is locked to a solid lead core, promoting perfectly controlled expansion and high weight retention for absolutely dependable on game results. Soft point shape provides broad frontal area for high energy impact and rapid expansion. Bullet cores are "Lokt" in place to provide deep penetration. Jackets designed for progressive, reliable expansion to almost twice the original diameter.

Just over 2 moa groups at 100 yards in a stock 700 BDL. It will work in a pinch. Used to get 1 inch groups with Winchester Fail Safes but can't find them anymore. The Silver Tips grouped just over a moa but at almost twice the price. I think I'll stick with these for now.

I have hunted all over the country and Canada and I have killed over 30 deer and hogs with this ammo at ranges varying from 50 to 300 yards. All but two have been one shot kills and have dropped in their tracks. The two that didn't were my fault due to poor shot placement and were recovered within 1 to 2 hundred yards. Whether you hunt for trophies or meat, you need proven, reliable, accurate ammo. This is the ammo you need.
