I ran out of my typical trap ammo at the range and all they had left was the Rem STS #8. I was going to pattern my new Beretta and decided to use the Rem STS. The patterns were inconsistant & holes. One of the range instructors had me use a bench to steady the gun and we tried to pattern again still same poor results. We changed ammo to some of his Federal he had and what a difference. Maybe the Rem STS ammo was old?
