Great target ammunition. Clean, accurate, and inexpensive. The best thing about it? In a pinch it'd serve for survival. There are more effective rounds on the market, but not at this price.

this is a great round...if you ever doing 100 yard target shooting with a revolver this is the ammo i always choose...price is right and i dont know if the quality could get much higher..."great stopping power with varmints"-mustang steve...well i dunno steve i emptied four rounds into a large squirrel, kept coming right for me, i nearly lost my life...but in all seriousness, if you want to kill varmints .357 magnum will kill varmints.

I purchased this ammo with my Smith & Wesson N frame with a 6 inch barrel. It is my favorite ammunition so far. It is always accurate, even on longer shots. I have also shot Magtech soft points and hollow points and although the Magtechs were definitely a hotter load, they never seemed as accurate as the American Eagles. Great stopping power on small varmints too, it may not be a hollow point, but what is the use of shooting if you can't hit the target. I would love to try them on some larger game!

With its solid punch and good accuracy it's a good choice for hunting through a long-barreled revolver or a rifle. If you can take recoil, use it as a snubby load, as snubby velocities don't over-penetrate. 100% reliable ignition. Easy in and out of the cylinder.
