Shot a deer at 350 yds. Dropped him like a limp rag. Shot a 200lb hog in the neck at 150 yds. No exit wound but could tell there was alot of damage in there. Very happy with bullet.

I have taken numerous deer with this cartridge. My last 1 was 209 lbs and my 2008 was 275 lbs. Penetration was no issue. Both dropped were they were hit. Lungs looked like hamburger. Highly recommend this round.

I've shot two deer with these rounds. The first was a 400yd off-hand shot on a running mule deer. It was an extremely luck hit, but not an accurate one. The bullet did penetrate clear through bone and meat and was stuck in the hide on the exit side. This yr's white tail was a 350yd shot from a bi-pod. The bullet entered through the rib, hit heart, exited through the other shoulder and once again was stuck in the exit side hide. They did the job and retained most of their weight. Don't advise on black bears however, the one I shot with this round is still roaming the woods...

This is not a hunting round fine for shooting at targets or small varmits. Will not hold together on whitetail deer lead will seperate from copper jacket. On a neck shot on a nice size buck did not penetrate to bone just blowup in muscle.
