Federal has the ammo you need and it's a great value too: Power-Shok buckshot. This example, in 12 gauge, has a 2-3/4" shell loaded with 12 pellets of #00 buck shot which it fires at 1290 fps. This shell is a good choice for deer hunting or personal defense.

I was very pleased with how clean these burned. The patterns for me weren't the greatest, but I'm also putting them through a 20" barrel at considerable distance... They have a tendency to end up top left of center much of the time so one must adjust. Good high base, polished brass, excellent burn, consistent burn as well.
