2.0 Rating not good for target shooting - 3/2/2010Ammo .308 Winchester 180 Grain Super-X Power-Point SP 2620 fps 20 Round Box X30862.0000
Reviewer: .308 shooter
I bought a box of these for my .308 in a 1 in 10 twist rate. They grouped much worse than any other ammo I had. Winchester grouped 9 inches at 100 yards. Cheap PMC grouped 2 inches. These will get you a minutes of deer but thats all I would use it for, not accurate at all.
5.0 Rating big game - 1/22/2010Ammo .308 Winchester 180 Grain Super-X Power-Point SP 2620 fps 20 Round Box X30865.0000

This is a big game load for Cape Buffalo and Elephants. I was advised by Springfield Armory not to use this load as a steady diet in my M1A, but yeah...it's a hot load...Semper Fi

I started using these shells at the end of last season and boy are they great.I shoot a Remington Model 700,they cycle great, shoot great, and they also blow big holes.I have shot 3 does with these wonders. The first spun around like a top,the other two dropped like they had been hit by a truck, and they all had hole in em' big enough to shine daylight through. If you are tired of having to find your deer after it's shot git u a box of these. From greenfields to powerlines its a do all bullet. But, thats just what i think.....

Shot a 4 point whitetail at 330 meters with my DPMS 308 using 180 gr. Great shot but the round went through and kept on going will use a smaller grain next time. Like the other reviews stated it will not get key hole groups even at 100 meters.
1.0 Rating Imposible to Zero - 8/22/2008Ammo .308 Winchester 180 Grain Super-X Power-Point SP 2620 fps 20 Round Box X30861.0000

I tried to use this ammo to zero my rifle but it was so bad I couldn't get a good group. I change brands and got much tighter groups. Do yourself a favor spend a couple bucks more and buy something else.
5.0 Rating Perfect Deer Cartridge - 3/22/2008Ammo .308 Winchester 180 Grain Super-X Power-Point SP 2620 fps 20 Round Box X30865.0000

After retiring from the military a few years back, I purchased my first .308 deer rifle, and since that time I have researched every bullet on the internet looking for the best deer round, and I have always came back to the good old Power Point. I have taken many deer with it and have also had to shoot through brush to claim my prize. I have taken shoulder, chest, head and side shots which took out some bone in the process. I have never had any of these bullet fail. They have always performed magnificently. On the range I get 1" shot groups at 100 yards on my best days. Yes they are cheap in cost, and can be purchased about anywhere. I use them for my .300 Win Mag as well. When it comes to shooting white tails, You will not find anything better. Just my two cents.
2.0 Rating cheap and hard - 9/2/2007Ammo .308 Winchester 180 Grain Super-X Power-Point SP 2620 fps 20 Round Box X30862.0000

i sighted in my new atr 100 with these rounds last year they grouped ok 2-3 " at 100 yrds. i hunt in a brushy area so that was fine for me. 2 day of deer season a doe walked out i shot her at about 20 yrds away perfect hit bullet went clean through broke 1 rib and went through both lungs never seperated. she ran 150 yrds through thick brush before she finally collapsed. entrance and exit wounds same diameter bullet just to hard for white tail. its cheap and a pretty good round but i shoot something federal premium with a barnes 165 grn barnes triple shock.
