I have fired most of the top brands of ammo through my 30-30 Marlin and the most accurate and best groups at 100 yards every time was the 150 grain power point. I would prefer the silver-tip but I’m not sure they still make them. I even shot 3 1/2 inch groups at 200 yard after adjustments. Great bullet!

I have shot several brands and bullet weights in my Model 94 and in my opinion this is as good as any 30-30 cartridge on the market. I have never had a misfire. It is very accurate, has good expansion, and gets the job done. They are also a little more reasonably priced than many brands when you can find them in stock! I do not consider it a 200 yard plus cartridge, but the 30-30 is not designed for that range. When used as intended the 150 grain Power-Point can't be beat at any price.

Very accurate out of my old Model 94. Recoil was nill and went bang every time I squeezed the trigger.

I was able to shoot 2'' groups at 100yds with my Marlin model 336W. It has very manageable recoil too.Would definatley reccomend.
