Great slugs, accurate even out of my little single shot NEF. A buddy and I were shooting cans out to 50 yards every time. Would I hunt with them? Sure, if I didn't have another firearm. Either way, they're great slugs, and very fun to change it up on a shoot day.

I picked up a few packs of these to add a little stopping power to my judge (I know Colt 45's pack a whallop but try and find them these days). I fired 10 round at the range and every other shot locked my cylindar halfway through rotation. I imagine these weren't made with a revolver cylinder in mind. My old 410 single-shot winchester liked them though. Maybe its just my Judge and not the ammo.

That dinky little 1/5 ounce slug gives about 650 foot pounds of energy. A great little stopper for dog sized intruders. Very effective on humans. (The 3 inch with a 1/4 ounch slug will give you about 770 foot pounds.) Remember that a slug does not equal a deer killer. Yes, it will work on deer, but with limited range, size, proper placement, etc. I have better choices for home and camp defense, but this is a good contender. The 2 1/2 inch shell gives me another round in the magazine (5) in my Mossberg .410 Cruiser.
