The Chip McCormick stainless steel POWER MAG+ are lean and sleek! CMC's unique follower design doesn't require an extra long magazine with protruding dimensions like other brands. POWER+ stainless steel follower allows space for larger spring coils and more coils in any given length. Unlike plastic, CMC's all steel followers yield highest possible strength, do not wear, are impervious to heat, with lowest possible bearing surface to mag walls; yielding the highest possible margins for function when used in dirty/dusty environments and/or when cleaning and maintenance is not practical in between usages. Power series designs are unique to CMC magazines which are 100% built on tooling owned by CMC, resulting in die controlled tolerances with standards 75% tighter than Mil-Spec standards used by other brands. I will always stand by Chip McCormick magazines, Wilson combat is of course one of the best and you are getting what you pay for. However when it comes to McCormicks' products you are getting more for what you paid for. I use a Kimber TE II and of all the mags that I use in my house on the several other weapon systems in the 1911 frame I have had no issues not once with Chips, I keep the mags loaded at all times for extended periods of time before changing out, or I will just grab them and take a trip to the range, not once have I had an issue with feeding, haven't had to clear a double feed, when inserting into your 1911 frame the magazine seats snuggly and when you press your mag release, whether the mags are loaded or unloaded the magazine slides right out with no issues. I've put these things through some abuse and low and behold they haven't failed me yet, if you should choose a Chip McCormicks, I recommend his power mags or any of the power mag +, excellent products delivered swiftly from an excellent company. Thank you both Chip and Cheaper than Dirt.
