The SS109 features a cannelure and boat tail design and the primer and case is sealed for long term storage and moisture protection. There were only two that were dented bad enough that I won't use them. About 5% of them did have a tar-like substance on them but it was easily wiped off with nominal effort. I give it five bullets because the price is better than anywhere else on the net.

This is a great deal on 5.56mm ammo. For about $.30 a bullet this is cheap enough for plinking and powerful enough for varmint and home defense.

Delivered in two days from order date. 2014 rounds counted, probably packaged boxes by weight I'm assuming. People complaining about huge defects, dinks,and scratches for smaller bulks of this ammo I'm glad I did not listen to. Either way shot 100 rounds as fast as I could through my Bushmaster with no problems other than a hot barrel....No more dirty to me than any other ammo Ive shot. Its not beautiful ammo but works. Would buy more if I had the space and money!

Bought this for my Fulton Armory AR 15 carbine because my rifle has 1:9 twist. Shot 350 rounds with absolutely no malfunctions. 5 round group inside 1/2 inch at 25m and appears sub moa at 100m (best I could do with EOTech). No fliers. Heavily boxed, arrived in great shape. Some had minor dings on them, but all were fireable and did not affect firing or accuracy. I'll buy more when the wife isn't looking.
