Works great. Bottom is aluminum, top is steel, so they are miss matched color! I have the Colorado silver scope (3-9) and it looks amazing on stainless steel, but you have to have a long scope, so these are not recommended by me for the take down 10/22, which requires a short, very compact scope to fit in the bag. Will work perfectly on a take down, just not fit in the carrying case with the scope attached
