I mounted these rings on my rifle and the scope sits crooked. Not sure if I got a bad set or what, but I had to do some gunsmithing to get them to work. Had to remove the alignment pins and ended up bending the rings with a large screwdriver to get them to line up. Now i'm hoping it holds zero! This is my first experience with mounting a scope, didn't think it was supposed to be this difficult!

I bought this because I wanted to be able to use my iron sights as well as the scope. Hard to find these rings... but when I finally got them and installed them I found the same issue that the previous reviewer stated. The screws that tighten these rings block the line of sight between rear sight and front post. If I squint I can barely sight-in with the iron sights, but it takes more time than without the rings, which defeats the purpose. Therefore, it makes me think it's not even worth trying to keep the iron sights and so these rings do not necessarily perform as advertised. I chose these over the B-square type mount because I read that it came loose. These have not come loose after at least 200 rounds or so. But, I'm probably just going to get a Picatinny adapter and mount a red dot.

I bought these for my mini-14 and they arrived in a timely manner. They were pretty easy to put on, but when on I could barely not see the front post. The screw that tightens them onto the ruger mount went through the groove that you were supposed to see through. So I used loctite and tightened them on the gun, then i used an air grinder and grinded the screw and a set pin that was in the way until i was satisfied with the sight picture. They have held up so far and don't feel like they are coming loose. They work after some amateur gun-smithing. Overall Satisfied
