After reviewing all the pepper sprays, I decided on Fox. Ordered four cans of 2 oz. stream pattern. Went to test one and it failed. Tested the other three and they all failed. I have never heard of any bad reports from Fox, so I don't know what to think. I'll probably order from another supplier to get a different lot. The date on these is 100412. I'm sure glad I tried one before giving to my wife and daughter. Can you imagine what could happen if you were facing an aggressor and he saw you were about to spray him and it failed? Wow! That would be a really bad situation. Again, no matter what kind you buy, like any other manufactured product, you could end up with a defective one (or four). Cheaper Than Dirt's return procedure was excellent. 5 bullets to them. I also contacted Fox Labs and they were very nice and wanted to have me return them to them, but I needed to send back to Cheaper Than Dirt to get a refund.

For self-defense where a pistol is not allowed, you cannot beat this product. Just search for youtube videos on its effects. I have given 3 of my lady-friends this product for their defense.

I've carried fox for years now, and last night I was forced to use it on an attacker for the first time. It literally dropped him to the ground in 2 seconds flat... and he didn't get back up for about 15 minutes, but still couldn't see or walk straight. Great stuff, just ordered 3 more cans. I did have the 4 oz can, but it's the same stuff in a smaller package! Didn't even take that much spray to take the attacker down. I reccomend this to the fullest!
