These rounds work flawlessly, if your gun jams with them you have one of two options... 1. Only use ball ammo or... 2. Stop shooting low end 1911's and get a real one... NO Problems!

Most modern firearms should digest this stuff easily but those older than 10 or 20 years may not be designed to feed the more modern ammo. You really won't find a better round for self defense.

This ammo does not work at all in a Colt Government model 1911. All most every round fails to feed. I do not use it in my .380 Ruger LCP either, same problem.

We carry only Speer Gold Dot now. I have actually used this ammo three times against human threats and it performed flawlessly. Outperforms other ammo I have used in the past under similar circumstances. I carry it off duty now as well.

This is an excellent round out of my SA .45 ACP,service 4" model. Shooting at a 10" target from about 12 yds. standing in my usual relaxed Weaver pos., I found I could print 3" groups easily, not extremely noteworthy hand gunning but more than adequate for self defense within the confines of a home. 185gr. is an excellent weight for a "4 barrel, you can get the V up for E without resorting to extra recoil and muzzle blast. If your having feeding and extraction problems with this precision made ammo of quality components then it is your gun.
