I couldn’t be happier with the performance of this Weaver V-9. I mounted it on a Ruger Hawkeye in 308 and the combination feels and shoots like a custom rifle for me. The 38mm objective allows me to mount the scope lower to the barrel (low height ring front, medium ring rear). This gives me a solid cheek weld on the stock. Click adjustments are accurate, optic clarity & cross hairs are sharp. Overall length fits well on a short action. It’s a hunting rifle with a target rifle attitude.
