5.0 Rating Amazing - 3/15/2011

Simply the best combat rifle I have ever bought, held and fired. Everything about this rifle makes me all warm and fuzy!! Very easy to disassemble. The action is very smooth and cleaning is a breeze. The folding stock adds an added dimension to the rifle. The ACR is a great upgrade to the standard AR-15. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone who owns an AR-15. If you want to make your friends and people at the range jealous, then buy this rifle! The price is well worth it.

5.0 Rating Very nice - 3/22/2011
Reviewer: Juansolo
Owned this roughly 2 months now. Gun is outstanding and smooth to operate. Compared to my m4a2, far exceeds. Heavier than the SCAR by feel, but the recoil is a dream.

2.0 Rating Terrible build quality - 8/14/2011
Reviewer: SellingACR
I purchased my ACR May-2011 and was not affected by the recall. In two days and less than 500 rounds through the new rifle, a friend noticed one of the port side screws missing. In inspecting the rifle further, I noticed two more were very loose (again on the port side) and that none of them appear to have had loctite/guntite used on them. I broke the rest of the weapon down to inspect the remainder of the parts and pieces noticing other manufacturing defects and sent to rifle to BushMaster. Three weeks later, I received the rifle back, inspected everything, replaced my optics and took it to the range for zero and testing. In slightly under 200 rounds of reasonable ammunition, I experienced 7 FTEs. These appear to be where the ammunition is extracted but does not have time to leave the EP before the bolt carrier slams forward. Additionally, my bushmaster branded P-Mags for the ACR were over feeding into the mag receiver. The design of the weapon is very good with some minor annoyances but the build quality is, well, terrible. This is one weapon of thousands of this model made but they will never have the opportunity to prove to me it was a one off issue. Bushmaster's "customer service" and "quality" focus couldn't be further off target.

5.0 Rating Best rifle - 10/13/2012
Reviewer: Az desert shooter
Love this rifle. Best rifle I have shot. The only one thing that is a problem to other people but doesn't bother me is the rifle is a little nose heavy. The rifle shoots amazing, the accuracy is great, and what recoil? None at all! I recommend this weapon. It is wonderful. This will shoot anything and the build is great.
