the russians are pretty good at making stuff, i'm a guitarist also and they make some of the best tubes for guitar amps, i've never had any problems using wolf ammo for 9mm or 7.62x39 or the 51's and 54's, i think they're awesome for the price

I have used nothing but Wolf 7.62x39 in my Yugoslavian SKS and have never had a problem. For the value of the ammo you can't beat it. Like it was said before,"Its made in Russia."

I think its one of the best bangs for you buck imo...ive shot 1000 wolf 223 round out of my AR-15 no jams, and ive shot about 800 7.62x39 and have never had a single prob...i would recomend it..=]

This stuff is absolute junk. I would never use Wolf in a quality gun, but I was assured that it would work in an AK-47. FALSE! On my Century Arms Romanian AK the first round jammed so bad the gun had to go back to the factory. When I got it back, I fired 3 rounds and it jammed so bad it went back to the dealer once more. Then I fired 40 rounds of brass ammo (4 different mags) and gun worked fine. I then inserted a mag with five rounds of Wolf. 2 rounds-jam. 2 more, another jam. Didn't even bother with the 5th round,

I've heard some stories about the recent batches of this ammo not working well or mis-firing. My experience with this round has been nothing but very good. My AK's and SK's love it. Accuracy is good but not fantastic, 3"-4" groups at 100 yrds with iron sights. Then again, I don't expect sniper quality from a mass produced military round. It's not a match grade bullit. Reliability has been awesome. Never a jam or dud yet after 3000+ rounds. I'm still shooting stuff I bought a few years ago though and no new ammo. I have some newer ammo I bought about four months ago. I'll try some out and see. Buy all you can before the new Communist government declares war on its subjects.

I've shot a lot of this ammo through my mini-30 in the past w/o a single problem. This last shipment was junk. I think in the rush to meet the recent demands, Wolf went the way of Remington (see 223 problems)and shipped whatever they had around; good, not so good, or total junk. The last 2 boxes were running more than 1 misfire out of 5. The firing pin indents are deep and well placed. I don't know if they forgot the primer mix, used cases where the spur in the primer pocket was bent/too soft/ missing, or didn't let the primed cases dry properly prior to loading. I haven't done a full autopsy yet to identify why they did not fire, but they're totally unreliable. The ones that fired were accurate. Gun was dirty (as usual with this stuff), but just too much of it didn't go "BANG".

I ran about 200 rounds through my new AK-47 AMD65 at the range and NOT ONE misfire. Smooth and clean ammo. WISH I COULD FIND MORE!!!!

This ammo is excellent shooting ammo. For those who have had problems with misfires, try replacing you fireing pin. It's not the ammo.

I shoot this out of my SKS and it seems like every 6th or 7th round doesnt shoot. They always shoot on the second try so Im not sure about this ammo but you can't beat the price. Not my choice fo in the field hunting ue to lack od dependability but great for practice. Gotta clean your gun alot after using this round too so I give it a 3 out of 5

My boys & I have been using Wolf ammo in a multitude of firearms. Sks, Ak's, .357, .45, ect. To the best of my knowledge we have never had a problem. Especially with the 7.62x39. Now granted it can be alittle more dirty then some others,but when your firing mag after mag cleanup is a must anyway. The performance is highly acceptable & the cost is unbeatable.They keep making it & we will keep buying.

Bought a case of this last year and out of the whole case one misfired due to a bent lip on my AK's magazine. Have never had a problem with my WASR-10 and love this ammo. Shoots 2 inch group at 200 yards from a bench, great of doing a little spray and pray, perfect ammo for the AK owner. Do yourself a favor and get it by the case before the price gets jumped on us again!

theas rounds are good for the price and vary acurat I have a 3inch grup at 100 yards with iron sights. the only problum i have is that i have had about 100 misfires out of the 5,000 rounds i put threw my WASR10.

I have fired at least 4,000 rounds of this ammo through my russian sks. I have never had a miss fire and only had one or two of them smoke stack after firing several hundred in quick succession with out cleaning the gun. I think that for the price you can't beat it.

i have fired over 700,000 rounds out of my romanian ak-47. Only 1 round has ever failed to go off. I have never cleaned this gun and it still fires the ammunition. Fairly accurate to a distance of 600 yards. For the cost you can't beat it.
