You don't need to spend more to shoot more ammo with these Blazer Handgun cartridges. 124-Grain Full Metal Jacket Bullet, 1090 fps, in 9mm Parabellum (9x19mm). 50 Round Box.

Blazer uses aircraft-grade aluminum that's heat-treated to make an economical cartridge case. As the case is the most expensive component of any cartridge, our aluminum case lets us give you a cartridge that has all the performance of brass-case ammo at a more attractive price. We load Speer bullets and CCI primers, both with a long record of happy users.

1.0 Rating Primer issue - 3/16/2012Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps1.0000

I purchased 1000 rounds because of the price. It runs clean and accurate BUT I had the primer separate from the case upon firing on most of the rounds. The major problem is that the primers would fall back into the gun when the shell was ejected thus causing all kinds of problems. I was thrilled when I shot the last box. I don't know if it is the aluminum case or just a bad batch of primers. I've sent several examples back to Speer.

Just ran 50 rounds through a Ruger P95, but 115 grain was a little more accurate.Could be the gun, the ammo or me, but they all went bang when called for!

Recently bought 10 boxes of 9mm. 300rds so far, perfect reliability with no failures in my Springfield Armory XDm. 19rd magazine empties as fast as I can pull the trigger!
5.0 Rating Low Cost - Worked Fine - 5/28/2011Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps5.0000

Bought and shot 500 rounds in SIG P226 with no problems. The price is great and it shoots fine. I have read people complaining about it being "dirty", but I didn't notice this being any more dirty than any other ammo I have used. I do clean my gun after every use though. I also like the 124 grain versus the 115...have had jams with some 115 grain ammo.

Ran 500 rounds through a Hi-point 9mm carbine, not one miss fire, jam, or dud. I will buy more of this to have around the shop for test fires on customers weapons.
5.0 Rating Good Plinker - 1/12/2011Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps5.0000

This ammo is great, always liked 124gr, and this is perfect for plinking and it's aluminum cases are light. No issues from a p226.

I've been using CCI Blazer aluminum cased ammo for 15 years or so and haven't run into any problems. It's run through several different makes of guns and it's always fed reliably and gone bang. That goes for my most recent purchase as well. Cheap, clean and reliable range ammo is what I want and CCI fits the bill!
2.0 Rating Junk - 9/7/2009Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps2.0000
Reviewer: Rabbit
Do not use this ammo in with a single stack magazine. In 2 different guns now I've had problems with the slide locking back prematurely because the bullet is so bulbous that it catches the slide stop as it feeds. The 124gr gold dots work fine as does every other ammo I've tried in both guns. On top of that this ammo is slower than most 9mm and not very accurate. I wouldn't even use it for plinking since you can't reuse the aluminum cases. Why does this ammo even exist?
5.0 Rating Works fine in PT111 - 8/20/2009Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps5.0000
Reviewer: RangeRat
I have just under 300 rounds of this through a brand new Taurus PT111 with no jams. One comment, and I'm not sure if this is from my new gun, or the ammo, but there was an extraordinary amount of metal shavings to clean out of the weapon after each of my two sessions at the range. Perhaps the aluminum case they use is fragmenting a bit upon firing? Who knows, but at this price, I'll just blow the fragments out of the gun after I shoot!
1.0 Rating Cheap and definitly not worth it !!! - 8/11/2009Ammo 9mm CCI Blazer FMJ 124 Grain 50 Round Box 1090 fps1.0000

Had the same problem as mbabsit. I bought 4 boxes of this stuff and all it did was jam my firearm round after round after round. I ended up giving away the 3 remaining boxes I had. Go with better ammo like Hornady or Remington. It cost more but well worth it.

This stuff works fine. I've shot several hundred rounds through my 92fs and M&P9c without fail. I prefer the Blazer Brass, but this works too.

I'm glad to see that this ammo is out of stock, because it's rotgut! I used in a Glock 17 with factory magazines, and man, this crap LOVED to jam! It's fair for the target range, but in a combat situation, I'll take Remington's!
