Hornady Superformance Match ammunition gives superb accuracy and performance from the .308 Winchester. It pushes a 178 Grain Boat Tail Hollow Point at 2775 fps! 20 Round Box. Superformance ammunition is 100 to 200 fps faster than any conventional ammunition on the market today, and achieves this performance in every gun, without increases in felt recoil, muzzle blast, temperature sensitivity, fouling or loss of accuracy. Superformance provides increased performance, and is safe to use in all firearms, including semi-autos, lever gun and pump actions. Increases in rifle performance, no increases in barrel wear and felt recoil, along with superior temperature stability are all realized with Superformance ammunition.

Bought this as well as 8 other different types to try out new RRA LAR-8 (.308 in AR platform). This won out! Almost three holes in one at 75 yds! Wow! Federal Premium 168 gr Matchking BTHP also did very well too!

This is some very good ammo. even better than my costume vld load and flatter than any factory 168 grain. pigs hate me from 800 plus yards. I hate to see this stuff go away. i would buy more.

I tried this ammo in a new out of the box DPMS LR-308. I can't see any reason to shoot anything else. I am not even done with barrel break-in period suggested by manufacturer and getting 1/4 MOA at 105yds. The Hornady Match 168 gr. BTHP is 2nd on my list so far.

Own a Remington SPS 20" 1-10 twist. Shoots 175gr the best. With this ammo, 1/2" 5 shot groups is normal. However, I said "almost the best". The other round is product code is AMM-721. Either is a FANTASTIC round at all ranges.

I have shot dozens of diffrent rounds through my Savage LE1 looking for just the right pill for this rifle. With a 20" barrel, things can be a tad bit different. However, it seems that all of the Hornady bullets, with weights over 165gr. perform the best. Then there is this stuff...outstanding. 100 yards is not even fun anymore. Really excels past the 500 mark. So if you have a LE1, give it a try. Or any .308 with a 20" tube. You will not be dissapointed. Well worth the money and the SD (standard deviation) is the best I have found of any of the rounds that I have tested. Extremely consistant.
