The Troy Industries Professional Grade AR-15/M4 Rifle Receiver Sling Adapter is just the ticket for a well made, and easy to install, sling adapter that has some extra benefits. The sling adapter itself is fully ambidextrous with two QD attachment points in its hardened aluminum construction. It also comes complete with a stainless QD swivel that can accept up to 1.25" slings. The added bonus from the simple installation of the Profession Grade Sling Adapter is that it enhances reliability in your AR platform rifle or carbine. The extra level of reliability comes by securing the receiver extension nut prevents rotation of the buffer tube potentially causing the rifle to go out of spec for reliable operation.

When I first put this on and used it, it slipped off of the castle nut. I then slid it back on and retightend it and backed it off a few times to work it in. Haven't had it slip off since, even after tugging and yanking on it. I really like the quick detach feature. Everything on your weapon should be simple to operate and this fits the bill. Very pleased.
