Hogue manufactures the grip used on the 500 which incorporates a special Tamer insert under the web of the hand. For those who have shot the 500 you know this grip works! The exclusive Hogue Tamer pistol grip features Hogues' famous orthopedic hand shape with compound palm swells and proportioned finger grooves and utilizes an internal Tamer recoil cushion that dampens the painful recoil of magnum loads.

Note: This forend is only compatible to Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend with a castle nut.

The pistol grip is amazing, but I mainly bought it for the forend, which doesn't fit my Mossberg 500C. It has the castle nut and everything, so I'm just kinda confused. 5 bullets if the forend fit.
