This is by far the quietest SS .22 LR I have EVER fired. I shoot with a 10/22 and my friend with a bolt-action .22 LR. I can tell you this: these things are so quiet that the only sound you'll hear is the action of the rifle and the sound of the bullet smacking something downrange. SUPER QUIET.
