This Lite Hybrid EXP Sabot slug round from Lightfield is an excellent, low recoil choice for hunting deer or other medium game. This example, in 12 gauge, has a 2-3/4" shell loaded with a 1-1/4 Oz saboted slug which it fires at 1300 fps!

The Lightfield 12 gauge 2-¾" Hybred EXP Lite is a favorite among young and old alike. Shaving 150 ft/lbs of pressure at the muzzle provides for a lighter recoil and easier handling slug round. Don't let the less recoil fool you; with a 1-1/4 oz (546 grain) hourglass shaped pure lead slug for maximum expansion the Hybred Lite is still achieving 2,049 ft/lbs at the muzzle. Because Lightfield slugs are designed and engineered to expand to fill any barrel they will out perform all others in smooth or riffled barrels.
