I am not sure why people have rated this knife so low, I realize it's not the best steel, but the construction and just plain coolness of this blade is awesome.. if you want to feel like Rambo, then your just a few bucks away! Although, I wouldn't use for an everyday knife.. its durability is in question..

SOG needs to do away with the Fusion line and save its reputation. I have 2 other SOG knives from their standard line and I love 'em. I bought this knife becuase I wanted a big bowie style knife for survival practice in the field. I liked the way it looked and the price fit my budget. But the steel is brittle and I dented the edge just trying to chop through a 3" thick oak branch! Now it just sits in my toolbox at home, and that is where it will stay. I ordered the Cold Steel Kukri machete and it is infinitely stronger and more useful than this piece of junk. Not CTD's fault, but I wouldn't even waste my time sending it back to SOG for a new one.

This knife looks great in my safe. I believe it will stay there since I want be trusting it with anything more than a letter opening. Don't buy this if you want to use it.

Ok, first off the steel is about as cheap as you get. 420 stainless is like a pimple on the butt of society when it comes to practical uses. Also, the tang dosen't go the whole way through the handle. I expected more from SOG than this junk. Also, I believe it is made in China, which might be a factor twoards the quality and practical useage.
