My shotgun looks so cool with this mounted on the magazine tube, I don't even have anything on it yet! It went on easily, didn't scratch anything and it's solid . . . I don't have to worry about it sliding around on me when I take my 870 out shooting . . . You can mount parallel to the mag tube/barrel on either side, at 45 degree angles or beneath the magazine . . . Great piece of equipment!

I haven't mounted anything on it yet, so I can't give it 5 bullets. It took a couple of minutes to put it on with the ATI heat shield. The heat shield, and the rail mount are snug. No movement, rattles, or shakes. With the ATI forend there's little chance of hitting the mount with the action tube. Great product overall.

High quality part. Solid construction. Just a tad big. It would slide up and down the rail. So i thought to make the inside diameter just a little tighter. I used painter's tape and layered it up so the mount would not move once on the tube. Works perfect now. the mounting bolts do nothing. The bluing doesnt match my Maverick 88 exactly.
