I know this light is meant to be used with pistols. However, it was temping to put on my Colt M4. This is one bright light. I'm pleasantly surprised how bright it is. It comes with multiple rail keys, so make sure you use the right one with your rail system. Otherwise, it will come off.

The Streamlight TLR-3 is a good, basic weapon light for a great price. It was easy to install and fits perfectly on my CZ-P07. Don't buy the cheap, junk lights. Pay a little bit more and you won't be dissatisfied.

SUPER BRIGHT, nice and small, should fit just about any rail system; has 5 differant "keys"!! Fit my Taurus 24/7 DS and 809 both 4" barrel's plus the "rail" under my Lasermax UNIVERSAL laser! Just be careful when installing and removing the "E-CLIP" mine shot away and got lost forever, NOTE: they only give you ONE (thats probably the reason why other reviewer's "wont stay on when firing") could not find one at any hardware stores but i called Streamlight and they sent me another one for FREE, great customer service there and here, CTD has the fastest shipping out there!! GREAT BUY, dont; "BUY CHEAP and BUY TWICE" get this ONE you wont be sorry!!!! P.S. Buy extra batteries NOW on the cheap from here(59437)!!!

The light is bright and looks nice when mounted but every time I go shooting with it the light flies off after about 20 rounds! I get it as tight as I can but no luck. I wish the grips on the light held a little tighter.

I thought this would fit any pistol with rails, wrong. There are a select few it does fit, none of which I happen to own. It would be nice to have had a better product description. Otherwise, nice light.

Just got this light and love it already, light is bright enough to temporarily blind even during daylight ( i found out the hard way) and mounts to both my SigPro and my other picatinny rail systems without issue. One thing to mention is that the keys included for different rails are a bit of a pain to install but not too bad. overall a great product

I just received my TLR-3. I had been looking at various other options, some from Streamlight like the TLR-1 and -2, as well as options from other vendors. I must say I am impressed with the device and the brightness is very good. It matches my multi battery handheld tactical flashlight that was next to my pistol until now. The different keys make installation on any pistol easy, it works on my HK45, P30 & P30L, P2000SK and my SIG 556 rifle. The key swap is quick and easy to make these transitions. The switches for the light are easy to use and battery replacement will be easy. There is even a $10 mail in rebate if purchased by Oct. 31st making the deal even sweeter.
