The Streamlight Buckmasters PackMate flashlight is designed specifically to meet the Outdoorsman's lighting needs. The PackMate combines Streamlight's new C4 premium LED technology with an extended run time and night vision green LEDs that do not spook game, making the PackMate perfect for hunters, outdoor adventures, camping, back packing, and hiking, or night hiking. The tail cap switch has been designed to allow you to use the PackMate to signal in either C4 white LED or ultra bright green LED mode. The PackMate's computer milled knurling provides maximum grip with or without gloves in wet or dry conditions. The PackMate comes in Realtree Hardwoods Green High Definition HD camo for the hunter.

Green LEDs are popular with hunters and fishers, because green LEDs will not spook game. Green LED will not attract bugs. It is also useful in covert operations because green LED can be hard to detect. Another use of green LEDs is its usefulness in a smoke filled environment.

Bought this light to go into my pack, it didn't score big with me because there are too many lights on the market for around this price, the switch that changes the light modes seems a little cheesey, other then that it`s ok.
