Leather Handled Tanto -
The traditional KA-BAR Knife updated with a Tanto blade. The knife features a 7" full size 1095 steel blade, full tang, double guards, pinned butt cap, polished leather disk handles, and black epoxy coating. Blade is flat ground to a super sharp edge.

Exclusively made in Olean, New York, USA and is proudly stamped with U.S.A. and the KA-BAR brand name.

This model comes with a KA-Bar/SGF sheath constructed of a tough reinforced glass filled nylon which is resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects during use in rough terrains.

Tanto Blade -
This knife blade was inspired by the shape of the Japanese sword blades. The point to this style blade is in line with the spine of the blade. The tanto has a reinforced point which is thick and strong and is good for heavy duty stabbing cuts.

Fixed Blade -
A fixed blade is a solid piece of steel, anchored to the handle without any folding mechanisms. It's durable and holds up well against the elements.

1095 Steel -
This knife is easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. It's proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR knives.

Powdered Metal -
A process used to make shaped metal pieces. Fine metal particles are molded under pressure and then fused under high heat. Knife also known as sintered metal.

Glass Filled Nylon -
Material used to make sheaths. Nylon is reinforced with glass particles and other materials to provide strength and durability while still allowing some flexibility.
